Dr. Debbie Chandler, MD, MBA
Founder and CEO of Azur MediSpa
Dr. Chandler, born and raised in Haiti, is a Physician Anesthesiologist, double trained, and double boarded in Pediatric and General Anesthesiology. She earned her medical degree at the State University Hospital of Haiti and completed her anesthesiology residency in Strasbourg, France, at Hospital de Haute Pierre, a division of Louis Pasteur University.
In 2006, Dr. Chandler joined LSU Health Shreveport to complete another anesthesiology residency. Upon her graduation in 2010, she was recruited to her teaching hospital, LSU Health Shreveport, where she has served in numerous leadership positions. In 2015, she attended the Accountability Leadership for the Healthcare team, a course sponsored by Harvard Medical School. In 2019, Dr. Chandler completed her Master in Business Administration at LSU-S.
Dr. Chandler's journey showcases her as fully integrated into Northern Louisiana medical affairs and wholeheartedly dedicated to the pursuit of nurturing her alliance with the community. Consistent with the aforementioned, Dr. Chandler, extends her knowledge and experience through Azur MediSpa, a medical spa facility, tailored for men and women of all ages, and specialized mainly in Non-surgical Body Contouring and Sculpting.
Dr. Chandler is excited to utilize the relationships and experience she has developed over time in her new journey as an entrepreneur. Azur MediSpa is the first medical spa owned by a black female physician in North Louisiana.
Saber Smith, RN
Specialties: Botox, Micro needling with PRP, Diamond Glow Facials
Saber Smith is a Registered Nurse and Cosmetic Nurse Injector. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler and currently lives in Shreveport, LA. After 5 years of caring for the critically ill Saber found her passion was to not only restore her patient's health but to also encourage their confidence by providing aesthetic treatments that allowed them to feel comfortable in their own skin. She loves empowering her clients by making unique treatment plans to achieve their most beautiful and bold self's. Working in the critical care setting allowed her to adopt values of holistic treatments.
At Azur MediSpa, Saber educates clients on how to achieve their goals by treating the full body, allowing the beauty to shine from the inside out.
Ameera Ghannam, RN

Ameera Ghannam is a Registered Nurse and Cosmetic Nurse Injector. She graduated from Northwestern State University with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Ameera started her career working as a Trauma/Med-Surg nurse. She went on to work as an Inpatient/ Emergency Room nurse, where she currently works full time.
Ameera's passion is providing clients with an aesthetic approach that not only enhances their natural beauty, but allows for their confidence to radiate. She believes that every individual deserves to restore their confidence by achieving their personalized aesthetic goals.
At Azur Medispa, Ameera provides treatments for each unique individual to achieve maximum goals. Allowing everyone that enters Azur's to leave with a happy and confident smile.
Kanekia M. Brown

Shreveport native, Kanekia M. Brown has spent the last 19 years building a solid reputation in the beauty industry. Kanekia is a Licensed Esthetician and Barber Stylist. As a 10 year business owner, Kanekia has honored her Esthetician, Cosmetology, Barber Stylist and Esthetic Instructor skills. Her specialties include Laser Treatments, Body Sculpting Treatments, Permanent Cosmetics, Eyelash Extensions, Microdermabrasion and Facial peels.
At Azur MediSpa, Kanekia provides individualized treatments to fit each clients needs to make them look and feel their best. She has a passion for each treatment she performs because there is no limit to the beautification impact of each treatment on her client's life.
Mary Claire Elgin
Medical Aesthetician
Mary Claire Elgin is a licensed Medical Aesthetician specializing in highly sought-after treatments such as Micro needling with PRP (vampire facial), medical grade DiamondGlow Facials, Laser Treatments, Body Sculpting Treatments, Lash Lifts and Tints, Chemical Peels, and more. She was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana and had her first baby, Gable, in August 2022. Mary Claire's number one priority is to help her clients feel confident in their own skin and focuses on creating individually tailored treatment plans for each client to achieve their goals.
She has a passion and background for aging + acne skin. Her soft disposition and thorough client consultations make all her clients feel comfortable and happy during their appointments.

Quartez is a highly experienced and certified massage therapist! We are all so excited to welcome him to the Azur family and can't wait to see how high he flies! Quartez is also a fire fighter which grants him the ability to practice IV fluid therapy. As of right now, we do not have the resources to provide that service but it is coming very soon
